Pets - Lost & Found If you lost or found a pet, or you can no longer keep it, visit the following websites for valuable information: Orange County Animal Services Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Animal Services will pick up lost pets, although it may take a few days for them to show up. You can take it to the County Animal Shelter at 2769 Conroy Road, behind the Millenia Mall, open 24/7. Local pet stores also run regular shelter and rescue events, especially during weekends. Dog is currently located at Orange County Animal Services, WD53 A-170637. (Posted 4-21-10) Bad News - Hit and Run I was just stopped by someone while I was walking my dog. He found a gray terrier type of dog in front of the high school this morning that had been hit and left in the road. Unfortunately the dog passed away, but he was trying to find the owners. He took the dog to Eastwood Animal Hospital, phone number 407-447-9444, on Alafaya. There was a red collar on the dog, with a tag, but the phone number wasn't in service, it wasn't a local number. if you know who the dog belongs to, they can call the vet. The vet will keep the dog until Thursday, then it will be cremated. (Posted: 5/25/10)
